Electric DNA
Electric from the start – That was the brief when designing the Work Demon.
Proven by real world trials of the first hull, resistance and consumption curves have guided the design while making sure the vessel can lift and carry heavy loads, remain stable when hauling and strong when towing. The aim was to produce an electric work vessel that could work all day, every day.
The result
A robust cored construction hull suitable for any work thrown at it. A hull design that can be a platform for many tasks; From hauling lobster pots to ferrying day tours. A marina support vessel or fish farm workhorse. The list of potential uses are endless.
Efficient by design efficient by nature
Not only was efficiency under way considered, but also construction. Recycled PET core is used throughout. Charging can be configured to use typical shoreside 16A supply, fast charging, or via canopy top solar array.
SOLAR CABIN
The WorkDemon – Solar Cabin is a cabin dayboat with an electric drive and a 40kWh battery giving a long range for cruising coastal waters and tidal rivers.
The large solar panel array over the aft cockpit allows independence from shore power under average use, with the capability of shore charging if needed for longer trips or more intense use. When not needed, the solar panels can be slid into a stack forward to open the roof of the cockpit.
